Steel Magnolias

Today Mom, Jackie (Mom's travel agent), and I went to a dinner theatre show and saw Steel Magnolias.  It was great!  I love the movie.  The play script was just a little bit different and there was only one set as the whole thing took place at Truvy's.  It was fun spending the day with Mom and Jackie.  Jackie is really fun and would give Aunt Judy a run for her money in a how long can you talk without taking a breathe contest!  It was about a 1 1/4 hour trip there and Jackie didn't run out of things to say either direction!  She even took a small detour and showed us her childhood home and neighborhood.  About 5 minutes from home it started raining...an hour later we had gotten 5 inches of rain with lots of thunder and lightening.  It's calmed down to a light rain now.

Unlike in the winter when it's packed, the theatre was only about half full today.

Jackie had on the cutest daisy outfit!
